Within the field, Corinthians gave São Paulo no chance, won 2-0, and remains steadfast in the Brazilian title fight of 2010. And, in the Morumbi stands, despite being infinitely inferior (only four thousand fans were to the stadium), Fiel Torcida (Faithful Fans) was noisier. At least that was what the monitoring carried out by IEME Brazil, an advisory engineering company specializing in dynamic analysis of structures, monitored the behavior of the two teams by means of sensors (accelerometers) installed in the stands.

Four sensors were placed below the upper stands of sectors 48 and 49 for the Corinthians, and 36 and 37 for the Sao Paulo fans. In order for Timão not to be harmed by being entitled to only 5% of the total ticket load, the Tricolor meters were placed to cover only an area the same size as that occupied by visitors. The vibration picked up by the sensors was monitored by Marco Juliani. The first two graphs on the screen on the engineer’s laptop showed the intensity of the Corinthian crowd, and the last two pointed to the São Paulo fans area. When the two teams entered the field, a vibration index of 355 mm/s² occurred. However, the peak occurred when Dentinho scored the second goal of the match, which secured a 2-0 victory over the rival: 455 mm/s². When Elias scored the first goal, in the initial stage, the index had reached 216 mm/s². The Timão fans did not show so much vibration in the entrance of the team in the field, who delayed being released by the Military Police to enter the stadium, and so was not in the area intended at that time.
